Multi-probe

Uniquely-developed sampling probe - will sample very accurately moisture, gas and temperature simultaneously to ensure speedy data collection over entire composting site.

Barcode Scanner

Bluetooth-enabled cordless scanner – to ensure reliability and traceability of the data so that each windrow can be managed according to its individual needs.

Monitoring Instrument

Integral instrument containing a gas sampling pump and sensors for O₂, CO₂, moisture and temperature. Controlled by a user-friendly interface, the instrument will take readings from multiple positions in a windrow in single 60 second cycles. Data is stored and then uploaded to the client’s computer for analysis.

Each windrow has its own windrow marker (complete with barcode) to ensure data recorded is consistent throughout the composting process.

Data Handling & Analysis

Conversion of all the collected data into meaningful and specific instructions for site operators. Very simply, averaged data for each batch are listed, together with the relevant compost management instruction, such as “Turn”, “Irrigate” or “Leave Alone”.
